I’ve been looking to try more K-beauty skincare products lately, so when I came across this Vita Glow Serum by Lolovegan, it immediately caught my attention. The ingredient list sounded well balanced and thoughtful, and it looked like exactly the kind of brightening and hydrating serum I enjoy using. After trying it, I can say it really is a great one.First of all, the bottle feels really luxurious. It comes in a frosted glass bottle with a pump dispenser, which instantly gives it that premium feel. The serum itself comes out as almost a thin gel-like consistency, but once you start rubbing it in, it transforms into a thin, watery gel that just melts into your skin. It absorbs really fast, and immediately your skin looks smoother and softer. The best part is you really don’t feel it sitting on your skin at all, even when you touch your face afterward. It also has no smell, which I really appreciate since I’m sensitive to fragrance.Looking at the ingredients, this seems like a very well-rounded brightening and hydration serum. The formula contains glycerin and butylene glycol, which help pull moisture into the skin and keep it feeling hydrated and smooth. It also includes niacinamide, which is one of my favorite skincare ingredients because it’s so multi-purpose. It can help improve the appearance of dullness, uneven tone, and texture over time, while also supporting the skin barrier. There’s Tremella mushroom extract (snow mushroom), which is known for hydration and helping give the skin a plumper, healthier looking finish. Chamomile flower extract is also included, which is a soothing addition, especially in a formula that contains vitamin C. Speaking of vitamin C, this serum includes both a vitamin C derivative (ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate) and ascorbic acid. Vitamin C is commonly used for brightness and glow and can help improve the look of dark spots or uneven tone with consistent use. It also contains a peptide (acetyl hexapeptide-8), which is often used in skincare for a smoother, more firm-looking appearance. One thing I do want to mention is that the front of the box lists “Vegan Collagen” along with niacinamide and vitamin C, which makes it sound like collagen is one of the main ingredients. However, when I checked the full ingredient list on the side of the box, I did not see collagen specifically listed (such as collagen or hydrolyzed collagen). It may be referring to plant based ingredients meant to give a plumped appearance, but I still think it’s worth pointing out for anyone purchasing it specifically because of that wording. This serum feels designed to help skin look more hydrated, smoother, and brighter with regular use. It absorbs beautifully without feeling greasy, layers well with other skincare, and gives a really nice glow. My skin definitely looks brighter and smoother since using it. I would still recommend patch testing if you have sensitive skin, since vitamin C can be strong for some people, but I personally have had no issues. At the current price of $35 (as of 2/17/26), I think it’s a good value and in line with what I would expect to pay for a premium skincare product. Considering the ingredient profile, luxurious packaging, and how well it performs, it feels very fairly priced. Overall, this is a lightweight, fragrance free, glow boosting serum that feels high quality and thoughtfully formulated. It hydrates, brightens, and smooths without feeling heavy or irritating. I really like this serum and would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a brightening product with solid hydration benefits.
